Dr. Kristin Royen received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 2009. After graduation Kristin relocated to the Northern Virginia area where she began her work with a premiere orthopedic practice. Dr. Royen was able to work with a wide array of patients including those with back and neck pain, joint pain, sports injuries and many post operative patients.
Dr. Kristin Royen moved back to her hometown of Charlotte in 2012. She continued her work in the out-patient orthopedic setting, honing her extensive manual and therapeutic exercise skill set. Kristin has been trained in dry needling, Mulligan, and Graston technique, which she utilizes along with many other manual therapy techniques to achieve the best patient outcomes possible. With a combination of therapeutic exercise and manual therapies Kristin enjoys treating patients of all ages and strives to give high quality, hands on, personalized care.
