Dr. Kristin Somerville grew up in Pennsylvania and has been a practicing Physical Therapist for over 6 years. She received her bachelor of science in Kinesiology from Penn State University. She then graduated from Drexel University with her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. She moved to Georgia after graduation to complete a residency program focused on Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She practiced in an outpatient setting treating orthopedic, sports, and post-operative injuries. Most recently she was a faculty member in the graduate physical therapy program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Kristin Somerville enjoys treating a motivated patient population of all ages. She utilizes a personalized, fitness-forward treatment technique to assess/correct body awareness and muscular stability. Additional treatment interventions including dry needling, shockwave, manual therapy, and neuromuscular reeducation. She strives to work collaboratively with each patient to help them achieve and exceed their goals.
When she is not working she enjoys staying active by working out, playing sports, and going on hikes with her dog.
