Associations

We have many professional associations

A major focus of our work at the FIT Institute is training for healthcare providers. Our training programs focus on deep knowledge and skill development through the use of carefully designed and applied learning approaches. The FIT Institute offers a full portfolio of training programs that address the theoretical knowledge and practical skills that practitioners need to effectively manage musculoskeletal problems, injury, pain and athletic performance.

The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) is the largest professional chiropractic organization in the United States. ACA attracts the most principled and accomplished chiropractors, who understand that it takes more to be called an ACA chiropractor.

We are leading our profession in the most constructive and far-reaching ways -- by working hand in hand with other health care professionals, by lobbying for pro-chiropractic legislation and policies, by supporting meaningful research and by using that research to inform our treatment practices.

Founded in 1978, The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is a nonprofit association dedicated to advancing the strength and conditioning and related sport science professions around the world.

The NSCA exists to empower a community of professionals to maximize their impact through disseminating evidence-based knowledge and its practical application by offering industry-leading certifications, research journals, career development services, networking opportunities, and continuing education.

The American Physical Therapy Association is an individual membership professional organization representing more than 100,000 member physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students of physical therapy.

Our federated model includes components: 51 state chapters and 18 special-interest sections, plus a PTA caucus and student assembly. APTA is led by a national Board of Directors, which is elected by the House of Delegates, a policy-making body made up of APTA members from across the country. The Board establishes APTA’s national strategic plan in alignment with our mission and vision statements.

The Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association (CCAA) is a multidisciplinary association that welcomes members from a cross section of healthcare backgrounds. It's purpose is promotion, protection, expansion and integration of contemporary acupuncture and related techniques into everyday healthcare through support education and research in the field as well as collaboration & scientific exchange with associations with common interests in Canada and Internationally.
